What is VisitRounds?

VisitRounds is a provider workspace that aims to simplify patient care by organizing patient intake information, visits, inpatient rounds, dictation, and documentation. It helps keep the patient and the work around the encounter connected.

Who is it designed for?

Busy physicians and other providers who want a clearer workflow for office visits and inpatient rounds. Team census features also support the administrative work around a rounding service.

How does VisitRounds support patient intake?

Providers can add and organize patient details, including identifying information and medications, before documenting a visit. Patient intake here means organizing information in the provider workspace; it does not currently mean a patient-facing self-registration portal.

Can I use it during inpatient rounds?

Yes. Daily census lists organize patients by team, date, and shift. Administrators and managers can upload census PDFs, and providers can select a patient to begin dictation and documentation.

How does documentation work?

Choose a patient and note format, record your dictation, and review the resulting transcript and draft note. You can edit the draft before finalizing it. Notes stay associated with the patient and date of service.

Does AI finalize notes for me?

No. AI-assisted documentation starts as a draft. You review and edit it, then choose when to finalize it. Your clinical judgment and responsibility remain central to the workflow.

Can I use VisitRounds on my phone?

You can access VisitRounds in a desktop or mobile browser. Recording requires microphone permission and a compatible browser. An internet connection is needed to sign in and save your work.

How do I get access?

Existing users can use the Sign in link with the account provided by their practice administrator. If you’re interested in using VisitRounds for your practice, send us a message using the contact form.

What if I can’t sign in?

Use your assigned username or email address and password. Contact your practice administrator if you need an account or a password reset. For a general question about VisitRounds, use the contact form.

What should I include in the contact form?

Include your name, email, and a brief description of your practice or question. Messages are saved for the VisitRounds team to review and respond to. Please do not include patient information, medical records, passwords, or urgent care requests.
